A Very Special Visit: Lebenshilfe Salzburg Donates Scented Cat Toys

On Tuesday, June 12, 2024, we had the great pleasure of welcoming Lebenshilfe Salzburg to our store, Dr. Ziegler’s Naturfutterlädchen. This special visit was all about cooperation and mutual exchange. The dedicated staff at Lebenshilfe brought us handmade cat toys that they had lovingly crafted themselves. These small, fragrant toys are not only a delight for all our feline friends but also a symbol of the wonderful work that Lebenshilfe Salzburg does.
 

Handmade Cat Toys: Fragrant and Colorful

The cat toys we received come in three color variations and two different scents. This combination of visual variety and aromatic appeal makes the toys a real highlight in a cat’s daily life.

• Colors: The toys are available in three vibrant colors and patterns—perfect for providing variety and visual stimulation.
• Scents: The catnip and valerian root scent options offer cats an irresistible appeal. Both plants are known for their attractive effect on cats and encourage their playfulness.

Catnip (Nepeta cataria) is a true miracle cure for many cats. Its scent is stimulating and encourages the animals to play. Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis), on the other hand, has a calming effect and can help cats relieve stress. Both scents thus offer a perfect blend of stimulation and relaxation. The new cat toy is now available exclusively at our natural pet food stores in Hallein, Perg, Purkersdorf, and Wörgl.

After the warm handover of the cat toys, our guests had the opportunity to take a comprehensive tour of our company. During the tour, they were able to take a look behind the scenes and experience our work processes and corporate culture firsthand.
