No, there is no minimum order amount for your order. You are free to decide how much you would like to purchase.
Please note, however, that certain conditions apply to frozen items. For these BARF items, shipping costs are €10.50 (up to 20 kg) to Austria and €12.90 (up to 20 kg) to Germany.

BARF stands for “Biologically Appropriate Raw Food.” It describes a diet in which dogs and cats are fed fresh meat, organ meats, bones, vegetables, and fruit—without any artificial additives. The goal is a species-appropriate, natural diet modeled after nature.

As a rule of thumb, dogs need about 2–3% of their body weight per day, and cats about 3–5%. A 20-kg dog, for example, eats between 400 and 600 g of BARF food daily. However, factors such as age, exercise, and metabolism should always be taken into account on a case-by-case basis.
A balanced BARF meal typically consists of:
- approx. 70–80% animal-based ingredients (muscle meat, organ meats, bones)
- approx. 20–30% plant-based ingredients (vegetables, fruit)
- The exact composition depends on the animal’s age, weight, activity level, and specific health needs.
The optimal amount of food depends on many factors—such as age, breed, activity level, and even the climate. As a rough guideline, a healthy, adult dog needs about 2–3 % of its body weight in food each day. For example, if your dog weighs 30 kg, that amounts to about 600–900 g per day.
Of this, about 70–90 % should consist of animal-based ingredients such as meat and organ meats, supplemented by 10–30 % plant-based components such as vegetables, grains, or other additives.
It’s important to check regularly to make sure your dog is maintaining its ideal weight.
Here’s a simple test: If you can easily feel your dog’s ribs without them being visibly prominent, your dog is in good shape.
