Heart is popular as muscle meat, but because it contains more nutrients than muscle meat, it is classified as an organ meat. In addition to iron, iodine, and copper, it also contains valuable vitamins. For cats, heart is a good source of taurine.
Liver is rich in vitamins A and D. It also contains plenty of iron, B vitamins, zinc, and selenium.
